Quincy University and the Quincy University football team invite all active and former military members as well as all first responders to attend Heroes Recognition Day this Saturday, September 11, during this weekend's football game against Iowa Wesleyan.

All active and former military members along with all first responders (fire fighters, EMS, police, etc) will get free admission to Saturday's non-conference matchup with Iowa Wesleyan. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM, and the gates will open at 11:00 AM.

The Hawks will honor our heroes in conjunction with the remembrance of September 11th.

The QU Hawks invite all military members and first responders to come out to QU Stadium for an afternoon of fun and football. Any active military member or first responder must bring a valid military or first responder identification card for entry.

The emotion filled day will truly be a special one in "The Gem City" especially for Hawks head coach Gary Bass. We'll check in with QU's top field general for a few thoughts...
