QUINCY (WGEM) -- Crews will soon begin to resurface a portion of N. 48th Street in Quincy.
This comes after the Adams County Board unanimoulsy approved and awarded the contract to Diamond Construction Company for more than $1 million Tuesday night.
Adams County Board chairman Kent Snider said work will start immediately.
"They wanted to start Monday. But, we have a little bit of paperwork to finish up, but it will start right away," Snider said. "They will start paving on 48th Street from Columbus Road to Maine Street first."
