Quincy High and Quincy Notre Dame returned to the prep fairways to rekindle their friendly rivalry. The Quincy Country Club served as the venue as the two Gem City prep golf programs collided for city bragging rights. The Blue and Gold and Blue And White played a Ryder Cup type format today and the play, as expected, was as competitive as in years past. We'll have some early highlights of the Raiders and Blue Devils in action.

Quincy Notre Dame graduate Jack Marth is now a college freshman at Truman State University. Despite his youth, the 2-time All-State football performer for the Raiders the past 2 years, is already making a big impact playing on the next level with the Bulldogs in the NCAA Division II ranks. We'll have the latest on the top honor the talented defensive end has received from Great Lakes Valley Conference for his latest exploits on the collegiate gridiron.

In the NAIA ranks, the Culver-Stockton College football program is celebrating the outstanding exploits of one of their top defenders today in Canton, Missouri. Senior Dalton Huffman is a Hannibal High grad who had a strong outing for the Wildcats last Saturday on the college gridiron. We'll have details on what recent honor the Tri-State product has been awarded by the Heart Of America Athletica Conference.
