We are continuing to enjoy some beautiful sunshine on this Friday. I am expecting daytime highs to get warmer than the past several days. Depending on where you live in the Tri-States, you'll be in the mid to upper 80s. Dew points will be rising into the mid-60s, so that means we'll have an increase in humidity levels. We have a cold front to our west and this front will approach the Tri-States early in the evening. As it does, I'm anticipating it to drum up some clouds and a particular area of the Tri-States may see rain from this front. The northern tier of the Tri-States could see a stray shower or thunderstorm or two after about 4 PM/5 PM. These storms will then try to move southeastward through the rest of the Tri-States, but they won't have much luck. They are expected to fall apart and die off pretty quickly. Therefore, I'm expecting the rest of the Tri-States to remain dry. This front will not bring us a big cool down.
