It's a big night for the Quincy High soccer program. The (10-8-3) Blue Devils will have a chance to wrap up the Western Big 6 title for 2021 with a win this evening in front of their hometown fans. 12 Seniors on this years roster at QHS will also be playing in the final home game of their prep careers. To say that emotions will be high this evening at Flinn Memorial Stadium would certainly be an understatement.

The "Blue and White" close out the regular season against the visiting (5-9-1) Pioneers of Rock Island Alleman. To date, the Pioneers are (0-6) in conference play this season while QHS is sporting an impressive (5-1) slate in the WB6.

We'll have a preview of the match-up and insight provided by Blue Devils head coach Ron Bridal.

On the college soccer pitch, John Wood is taking a few days off to rest and give a few bodies a chance to heal after several weeks of facing tough competition from across the "Land of Lincoln." The Blazers, as explained by their head coach Brad Cowman, have been banged up and they need time to recover from a few injuries, plus get their minds right before heading into region play.

We'll have an update on the (6-8-2) Blazers and details on when they will return to the practice pitch.

In the MSHSAA football ranks last Friday, The Raiders of North Shelby faced top-ranked Stanberry and posted a dramatic 14-13 win Over SHS, on the road. At the time, the Raiders were ranked 5th in the Media 8-Man Football poll while Stanberry was at Number 1. This week, that's all changed to the delight of Raider football fans in Shelbyville, Missouri. We'll take a look at this week's poll and see just how how the Riders have risen under first year head coach David Stuckey.
