A stationary front has developed and will stay parked over the Tri-States in a southwest to northeast live bisecting the Tri-States. Periods of showers and thunderstorms will roll along the front through Friday. We have some wet days to get through until the weekend. High pressure returns over the weekend kicking off a stretch of dry weather that will last into the first half of next week. The weekend looks like a nice one for all Tri-States outdoor fall events. It will be the first really good taste of fall weather with low temps dropping to the low 40s, there may be a couple of locations that reach the upper 30s.
